My Thanksgiving Break & Getting My Ears Pierced
I haven’t written a blog in a while, so I thought I’d talk about my past week. This week was Thanksgiving break, and honestly, it was really fun. I hung out with my friends, went to a few parties, and even got my ears pierced.
The first big thing I did was getting my ears pierced. I got the idea from my friend, who also wanted to get his pierced. So me and my dad, and him and his dad, went to the mall to find Claire’s. We shopped around for a little bit and then finally went to get it done. He went first, then I followed. It didn’t really hurt as much as I expected. I thought it would look good — and it actually did.
After that, I spent the break hanging out with my friends. I went to their houses, we played outside, and we even went to the soccer fields near our school. It was just a chill, fun week where we didn’t really worry about anything.
I also went to a few different houses for parties and get-togethers. Those were fun too, just a lot of people talking, eating, and hanging out.
Then break ended — and school started again. Everyone kept saying my earrings looked good. A lot of people asked me why I got them, and I just said “tradition.”
Anyway, that’s basically what happened this past week.
